1. General
HillyTaxi provides online taxi booking and transportation services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which govern your use of the website and our services.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- All bookings made through our website, app, or phone must be confirmed by us before they are considered valid.
- Bookings may require a partial advance payment (usually ₹500) to confirm the cab reservation.
- We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances such as vehicle unavailability, weather, or technical issues. In such cases, we will notify you and issue a refund of any advance paid.
3. Payments and Refund Policy
- Payments can be made via UPI, QR code, or other methods displayed on our website.
- The advance amount paid to confirm a booking is non-refundable in case of customer-initiated cancellation within 24 hours of the trip.
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to administrative charges.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time may result in forfeiture of the advance payment.
- In case the driver is unable to reach the pickup location due to reasons beyond our control, we will issue a full refund.
5. Passenger Responsibilities
- Please ensure accurate pickup and drop-off details are provided during booking.
- Passengers must be ready at the pickup location at the scheduled time. Delays of more than 30 minutes may result in booking cancellation or additional waiting charges.
- Passengers must follow all traffic laws, wear seat belts, and avoid damaging the vehicle.
6. Company Rights
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone violating these terms or behaving inappropriately with our staff or drivers.
- We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by factors beyond our control, such as weather, traffic, road closures, or accidents.
- We may modify routes or vehicles as needed for safety or operational reasons.
7. Liability Disclaimer
While we strive to provide safe and reliable taxi services, HillyTaxi is not responsible for any direct or indirect losses, injuries, or damages that occur during the journey unless caused by gross negligence on our part.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. By using our services, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and use your personal information.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, text, logos, graphics, and design elements on this website are the property of HillyTaxi and are protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Himachal Pradesh, India.
